China warns Canada to "halt interference in Hong Kong's internal affairs"
The Chinese embassy in Ottawa has warned Canada to immediately intervene in Hong Kong's internal affairs, according to a news release from Channel News Asia in the morning of August 19, 2019. The country has issued a joint statement with the European Union on the protection of "fundamental right" for Hong Kong people.
