Vietnam to launch 'Gapo' campaign to get people to stop using Facebook !!!
Vietnam has launched a new social network aimed at getting people to stop using Facebook, according to a press release from Nikkei Asia on the afternoon of August 14, 2019.

 Hanoi-based Gapo Technology announced the launch of a new social network called "Gapo" on July 23, since January. There are three local social networks launched in Vietnam.

 "We are confident that it will be able to attract 50 million users by 2021," said Ha Trung Kien, Chief Executive Officer.

 Moreover, the announcement of the "Gapo" came just a week after Vietnam's Information and Telecommunications Minister Nguyen Manh Hung told a meeting of IT specialists in Ho Chi Minh City on July 16. Want to see more Vietnam social networks compete with Facebook.
Currently, 60 million Vietnamese people out of a total 96 million people are using Facebook.
